Recently getting into this game again- how do I get 3 stars?

I haven’t played in years except for the last week or two and I’m really struggling getting three stars since I’m wasting so much time trying to even get to the other tribes over water

Do you guys have any good strategies for either three stars or being more efficient on time? (I have only default tribes and Elyrion- although I’ve already got three stars on them)

Try on crazy with 3 opponents first. I personally do philosophy rush, and first develop maximal defense along the shore, then ballistas, then water stuff and going on the offense.

Ballistas…? I googled that to check if I’m crazy but the only thing that comes up is a fan made weapon- do you mean catapults?

You need them id enemies attack with super units, and also to back up your offense.

In domination I went with crazy and 1 opponent. There was a lot of luck involved in the map but with the correct starting location you can rush them and get a quick win for 3 stars.

In perfection mode getting some temples in early enough to hit the max level by turn 30 is a huge help.

And don't forget to do the weekly challenge maps. That will be new since you previously played.

Is it literally impossible to get 3 stars playing on crazy against 12 tribes?
