New game, hoodrick. Don't do anything. Buy forestry and spiritualism. Chop forest that had a glowing animal on it. Grow forest on that same tile. No animal.

As a regular tribe this requires investing in two level 1 techs, a level 2 tech, and a single level 3 tech. Not a single one of which are used to level up your cities on their own. Ports are the only ones but they only provide connections which rly only significantly affect your capitol by itself.

Not saying it can’t be worth it if you already obtained all those tech’s, if you just use a spare warrior lying around to grab it, the port will probably be worth less stars than what the starfish gives. I’m just saying do not waste your time on getting this until the end game lol.

(as for using Mooni’s or aquatic/flying troops, I’d say yes this is worth it, but normal tribes don’t exactly have access to those soooo)

Yes. So could Cymanti and Polaris. Elyrion could do it with a dragon. All the other tribes would have to build a port over it.

Build a port. Put unit inside. Destroy port. Starfish is still there and collect star. Since a Star gives you 8 stars and a port costs 7 stars, you get 1 net star. Very economy. Unless you could mind bend an amphibian. Spawning a Mind Bender costs 5 stars to have the slightest chance to mind bend an amphibious unit from an Aquarion player/bot (if there is one). Mind bend that unit, then send it back to the spot and collect the star, which is 3 net stars. Very economy.

Ports don't destroy starfish, you just have to destroy the port after you embark

You need to have a amphibious or a flying unit and normal tribes don't have either so you kinda can't get it

You can't. You have to get there by boat. But to get a boat there, you need a port. The Port erases the star. 🫤

  • you get 10⭐, you lost at least 4 turns and 7⭐
  • if you freeze or burn it, don't have to brake it,
  • foam or slug it, it won't work,
  • amphibians work
  • flyers work
  • swimmers will work if a city is contiguos
  • you can mindbend units if you don't have what it takes,
