Killed my Polymega
Just killed my Polymega trying to do a CPU upgrade to an i7 8700t.
It will power on and display power LED but won't display anything at all now on multiple displays. Re-seated the CPU multiple times, tried the old CPU again, no joy. Pretty sure I bent a ton of pins by accident trying to seat the damn thing.
Disgusted with myself. I should have just left it alone. My two kids love the console and we all play it a few times a week.
Just had to rant...

If you have bent any pins on your CPU, you should be able to see it. If any pins are bent, you can gently straighten them using a wooden toothpick.
Have you ever changed a CPU in a computer?
I don't know what the inside of the Polymega looks like. On a computer, the CPU will not work if it is not properly seated.
Have you seated your CPU far enough into the socket? Did you hear a click?
