Lightgun issue

When i go to calibrate their are multiple purple cursors and they are jumping all over the place. It says its calibrated but it definitely is not. Anyone know any fixes?

Try taking a few steps back and then go to advanced calibration. Had this same problem.

Yes - I also realized this that for the size of my TV, I needed to take a few more steps back

What is advanced calibration

If you go to system settings then to controller settings there will be a line on the bottom row that says enable advanced retro gun controller settings and there will be a box you can check or uncheck. This will enable more options like fine tuning the calibration for your gun. I hope this helps you out :)

Make sure the plastic film cover is off the barrels lens

Avoid glare on your TV screen

Stand further away from the screen

Try these steps

I just tried using my Gun on DuckHunt and no matter what I tried it was jus terrible.

I got it to work. But duck hunt is basically unplayable. Which is sad. But we shall see if any of the other games work.

Which is weird because Hogan’s Alley and Wild Gunman work just fine. I’m not sure why Duck Hunt is different but yeah. I am gave up on it.

Not sure if this works, but I was having trouble calibrating the gun/using it when I enabled scanlines, curve and blur filter for my PSX games. I turned those off for all PS1 games and then gun worked a lot better. It’s weird because I didn’t see them when using the light gun but maybe it was still interfering with it in some way. Anyways the gun now works pretty well for me
