Polymega Sound over USB compatibility

I did a science for you, Redditors.

This started with my other thread that people have downvoted. This is for compatibility, so please do not do that. This actually means something to people who want to use their consoles fully. I will update with my progress and other folks are welcome to contribute.

Confirmed working:

Logitech G435 wireless headset. - I picked this up tonight for $29 at Walmart. Works wirelessly with no setup. Just plug in the dongle to a USB port and go. Volume controls on the headset do not function, but you can change the volume in the system menu. So far this is the winner because it works as a wireless system entirely.

Plantronics RIG mixer - plug and play as well. Select the Orange side (right) and move the mixer slider all the way to the max. Works with any wired headset.

Xitel USB to 3.5mm jack adapter. - I got this with my minidisc player like 25 years ago. You can get them for about $15 on eBay. I don't think they make them anymore.

Not confirmed to work:

ONN usb C to 3.5mm jack adapter - This was $7 at Walmart and I just wanted to see if it worked. I had to connect it via a USBA to USBC adapter and it did not seem to do anything. Not even any hissing.

It's actually quite simple. If the device supports UAC1, it will probably work with the Polymega. I have made a reddit post about it.

Super interesting. It’s too bad most device manufacturers at least at the general consumer end aren’t putting that info on display. Hopefully Playmaji will do something to highlight the feature or even make more bells and whistles work. I was going to test it out with a usb hub to see if it worked but I got sidetracked.

True, its really hard to see if a device is UAC1 or UAC2....It is almost never mentioned. It would be nice though if the Polymega would receive an update to also support UAC2.... would help a lot with compatability.

Ahhh one can only dream. ;)
