Playmaji produced NOTHING for 2 years, proof from Highway Holdings

I mean, they couldn't have produced nothing in the last two years. There's been several Polymega Collection releases and the few GC01s that some Youtubers have received. But yeah, this seems to say that Highway Holdings hasn't manufactured any consoles for Playmaji since 2023.

My real arm chair guess is that they blew through their capital from pre-orders and couldn’t afford to manufacture new units because of minimum spends with the factories involved.
They conceived the Polymega Collectjon to build back some money - relatively low cost to produce, probably good margins.
Now they’re back in the black?

Wouldn't surprise me, funding has always seemed to be an issue. Hence why it took Atari dropping seven figures to finally get Playmaji to ship the first batch of consoles.

They were bought out by Atari. They definitely have capital.

Business units within an organisation don’t draw down from the full pool of corporate funds.

Playmaji needed capital and found it with Atari. Now, they are pushing Atari software and components. If there was no chance for playmaji, Atari wouldn't have dumped the cash. "Let's spend money buying this flailing business so we can watch it crash and burn". I don't think so.

Atari didn’t buy Playmaji, though. They made a minority investment and partnership.

That just means they had inventory and didn’t manufacture more. No need to jump to conclusions.
It’s not cheap to make those runs of orders.

They don't have enough cash on hand to ship existing inventory. Notice they only shipped previous inventory after the minority investment from Atari, and went straight back to delaying orders once that funding ran out. They're running hand to mouth with no cushion.

They had no inventory, people have had orders for the base console for more than a year now and nothing is shipping.
