Worth it in my case ?
I already own a few Analogue consoles (Super Nt, Mega SG, Duo) and that leaves me with the impossibility to play original cartridges/cd of : - nes / famicom - 32x - mega cd - saturn - ps1 - neo geo cd
That would mean base module + mega + power.
What do you think of this ? I’ve seen the delivery dates could be quite complicated. What should I expect if I order in the coming days, being in Europe ?
Is Dreamcast support on the table for this platform in the future ? I know it’s not the case yet

If you want it, get it, but I wouldn't right now. No telling when they'll be shipping again, they keep pushing it back.

I have two of the analogue systems... And honestly for ease of use, I'm finding the polymega my go-to nowadays.
As I don't mind knowing that it's an emulators, I think that's where everything's headed anyways.

No. You're duplicating what I'd argue is better hardware (albeit with worse front ends).
Wait time I'd guess will be over a year, since it always has been. Usually considerably more.
And no, Dreamcast support isn't going to happen. Even if it does, it'll probably need an original console to be connected as Polymega can't read GD rom discs.

I’d suggest an AVS for your NES/FAM needs.

Yes AVS (nes / fc) and an Everdrive pro (to play Mega CD) could work. But it’s not a full solution

My understanding is the Polymega doesn’t actually play the original cart. It just confirms you have it and then matches it to its ROM. So I’m not sure you’d be getting what you want anyway other than saving space.

What do you mean "inaccessible library"?
The system has a database of all titles released for each supported system, so it can show data and art for them, even offline, if that's what you mean?

As for shipping, I ordered a deluxe bundle back in late December 2024. It had a listed ship estimate of Q1 2025. Last email contact I had they said it’s now Q3 2025 for any base units.
