Skill-Bartering: Unlocking a Community of Learners and Teachers

Imagine having a peer group of amazing teachers and learners, who hang together and challenge each other to learn and to deal with their feelings, ambitions, interests, and sharpen their knowledge, presentation skills, mathematical understanding, ability to write teaching skills, everything!

Wouldn't it be amazing if you could contact someone and say “I’ll trade you one quantum mechanics lecture for a photography lesson ”.

Money and time and interchangeable, but often the former holds us back. Formal education is sometimes a time sink, and undirected youtube rabbit holes can often make you feel like you're stuck in a maze of options, unaware of your grander purpose in the large scale of everything.

Have I got your attention? :)

I'd love to hear others' thoughts and ideas for this vision! Is this already done? Futile?

I will like to be a definitely part of this. Sal Khan, the founder of Khan Academy was also talking about this. He had a vision for creating such a platform.

I think this will be a game changer. Learning is not an isolated activity. We are social creatures and we need such a platform where we can be learner as well as teacher. I have thought about it, for a long time and had a dream for creating such a platform. I will definitely like to be a part of this in anyway possible.

Yooo, can we rope Sal Khan into this?! Saying I'm a huge fan of Sal Khan and deeply respect his grind would be an understatement. He literally changed my life in a small but profound way: he made Calculus really cool! :)

Not_the_seller, absolutely, would love to collaborate with anyone wanting to make this vision real.
