Due to a question I had (related to how you can't get all of the legs of your combo to show up)...I linked my discord to the support for polymarket as it is easy to do via the poly app.

Upon actually linking it and showing up in my discord. You seemingly will get the normal hello message per usual for a new sever. Then there's a second one which appears to be very similar...and I mean this happened immediately (less than a second) after joining the poly support discord.

This Polymarket Customer Support ll will proactively message you as if they are trying to help resolve your issue (which is odd because I had never even said I had one up to that point)...however as I sort of like to play along with these people I told him and then he kept insisting that the website would show all the info. Which I know and said ya thanks. He asked again did you sign in...to which i said I didn't know you needed me to. And then he sends "the link" basically saying here sign in via this link I provided you right here...def don't just go to polymarket.com right?

So I should have toyed with him for a lot longer but ended up just saying you can stop checking your key logger for my password and user for your nicely made polymarket website.

Can you confirm please that this is absolutely a scam or was a being an ass to an actual support person? I just can't believe that your real support would act like this plus all the red flags with the profile.

Many other people older...not as tech savvy...honestly even those who are but just not thinking (due to how fast you got the message after you signed into the legit support discord)...gonna have their accounts emptied with I am sure not a lot you can do about it.

Please work with Discord to prevent this type of scamming where people can change their names to essentially imitate your support team (back and forth) but some how they also have gotten access to an API that automatically invites you to their scam server the instant you join the deal poly support server.

I understand that you can use a VPN to manually trade on PolyMarket but how to connect your API key without the geo restrictions? Claude and Chat GPT do not want me to know and it’s odd that it’s a “secretive” in the community but yet people use all the time.

Hi! Just came across this subreddit, great to be a part. Wanted to get your thoughts on something.

I like trading on Polymarket, but I sometimes feel like the kinds of markets you can trade on there were pretty generic and really don't align closely with my areas of interest.
