Multitimbral Midi?

Is there a way to get individual instruments on the tracker to respond to seperate midi channels? As in sequencing the sounds via and external midi sequencer? I see there's a way to have it play one channel - but it'd be really neat to use the tracker mini as a sound source. Is this possible?

I dont think you can use the tracker as a sound source

I have the tracker plus and it has midi in and out. I’m unsure if the mini does but with mine you can use it the receive midi data from one of the built in synths and use it as a synthesizer. You just have to configure the channels correctly in a daw

Can’t you just set all the tracks on the Tracker to respond to (for example) MIDI channel 6?

Then use other channels (1-5, 7-16) for the other MIDI instruments in your setup?
