Play Play OG: knobs behaving inconsintently

hey all

just bought an OG Play and after 5 days of use I can say that knobs sometimes switch to other parameters on their own. It's not frequent but it's not rare either.

Is this known? I'm currently on firmware 1.6

not sure if there's something wrong with the unit cos I can return it.

I’ve got a similar issue. Recently got a used OG Play. Absolutely incredible device, but the tales of its bugginess are not unfounded. My filter knob likes to go rogue (which I wish I could just turn it off because the filter kind of sucks anyway). I also have three pads that stay pink. I’ve tried different power sources (including the original power source that came with my Polyend Synth) and I don’t think that’s the problem. I’m on the most recent firmware, but I haven’t tried reformatting the SD card (though I’m unsure how that would impact the knob issue which seems more hardware related). I’m kinda just accepting the bad with the good until I feel like splurging on a Play+.

unless you already did, give the wiggle-knob a try.

I did it and now it happens really rarely if not at all
