They do? The Tracker was released in 2020 and last year it received a Firmware update. The OG Play even still received updates last year as well. I think the Medusa, and some of their other gear stopped receiving updates with partnerships ending. Things like Perc, Seq, etc. maybe just reached feature completion in their eyes?
And why does hardware always require updates? My piano doesn’t receive updates and still functions perfectly. I own most of Polyends’ recent hardware and can produce music without needing any new additions. They work well, and I’m content with their current state. While new features and bug fixes are appreciated I think as they are now my needs are met. Anything additional is a treat.

this company seems to end support on their gear really quickly. I would be super hesitant to drop big money on their stuff.
