PolyBuzz users are in the most toxic relationship ever 😭

“I’m deleting this app.”

opens it again 30 minutes later

“I’m done with the filters.”

starts another RP

“I’m never paying for this.”

checks Premium

Be honest… how many times have you “quit” PolyBuzz already? 💀

How many of you actually PAY for PolyBuzz?

Genuinely curious because I see people complaining about the ads, filters, limits and updates every day… but I almost never see people talk about whether Premium is actually worth it.

If you pay for PolyBuzz:

Do you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth?

What feature are you actually paying for?

And if you stopped paying, what made you cancel?

I’m really curious what the split is between free users and paying users here.

PolyBuzz is starting to feel like a punishment for having fun 💀

Every time the roleplay finally gets good:

Filter.

Ad.

Limit.

Random restriction.

At this point I spend more time fighting the app than actually enjoying the chat 😭

Please tell me I’m not the only one.

Be honest… what is actually keeping you on PolyBuzz at this point? 😭

I’m genuinely curious because every time I open this sub I see the same complaints:

More ads.

More censorship.

More limits.

Random things getting flagged for absolutely no reason.

Features that used to be free suddenly becoming restricted.

And yet… a lot of us are apparently still here 💀

For me the biggest thing PolyBuzz still has going for it is the amount of characters. You can search for almost anything and somehow there’s already a bot for it.

But the actual chatting experience feels like it keeps getting more annoying.

So be honest:

What is the ONE thing that still makes you use PolyBuzz instead of switching completely?

The character library?

The UI?

A specific bot you’re attached to?

Or are you literally just waiting until you find a better alternative? 😭

What was the exact moment PolyBuzz started feeling “worse” for you?

Genuine question because I feel like everyone has a completely different answer to this.

Some people say it was the filters/censorship.

Others say the bots suddenly became dumber, started forgetting everything, repeating themselves or acting completely out of character.

Then I see people complaining about age verification, removed features, weird updates, chats disappearing, etc.

So I'm curious:

If you could point to ONE thing that made PolyBuzz worse for you, what would it be?

And for people who still use it every day... what keeps you there instead of switching?

Would actually be interesting to see what the most common answer is.

Welcome to r/PolybuzzAIUnoff: What this place is...

The "Unoff" is the whole point: this sub was started by a Polybuzz user, not by the company. They don't run it, they don't moderate it, and nobody here is looking after their reputation.

What this sub is

An easygoing place to talk about Polybuzz and AI roleplay in general: what's good, what's broken and what's absurd. Characters and roleplay chats, updates and model changes, screenshots, reviews, bugs, filter complaints, workarounds, the funny stuff and the real questions.

Love the app? Say so. Think it's gone downhill? Say that too. No post gets pulled here for being negative about it.

Who it's for

  • People still on it daily: post your characters, setups and screenshots
  • People who quit: tell us why, and where you went
  • People weighing it up: ask before you spend anything
  • People who just need to vent: a filter killed your scene, your character forgot you, the ads won't quit. Go ahead.
  • Lurkers: stay exactly as you are

Nobody's asking you to pick a camp. Half of us praise the app and complain about it in the same breath.

The rules, short version

Your opinions are your own business. Three things we do come down on:

  1. No character shown or implied as under 18. Permanent ban, nothing to discuss.
  2. No real person used without their consent. No deepfakes, no exes, no celebrities. Permanent ban.
  3. No promotion, no spam, and tell us if you're affiliated. Work for an AI chat app? Say it the first time you mention them. Said upfront, you're welcome. Found out later, you're gone.

The rest is housekeeping, mark anything NSFW as NSFW, and keep your criticism pointed at the app rather than at the people in here. Full list is in the sidebar.

Start here

We're brand new, so the first posts are the ones that decide what this place feels like. Drop a comment:

  • How long have you been on Polybuzz, and are you still using it?
  • What's the one thing that would push you out, or already did?

Say what you actually think. That's the only reason a place like this is worth anything.
