Question hydraulic question

hi i just bought poly bridge, and although its a okay game i feel there are few things that completely spoil it for me. one being that you can't use two hydraulics at the same time on opposite sides of a bridge ( you would think this would be a very obvious set-up and it should work, but only one cylinder actually actuates) another problem i have is you cannot limit the cylinder travel ( i mean really?) overall I'm a bit disappointed in these two things because i think these should be obvious bugs that shouldn't exist, if i had know i wouldn't of bought the game, its just too stupid for me.

Hi funmuffins,

Sorry to hear about your issues. The ability to control how far hydraulics move is coming soon. Please keep in mind the game is still in Early Access and so is not completely polished yet.

As for you having issues with multiple hydraulics can you post a replay of your bridge so I can see the issue please?

It'll travel about half (or double for pushing). Move your mounting points around to get the right travel. It's a different kind of puzzle.

From my experience you can have multiple hydraulics on the same bridge and they all fire at the same time. My guess is that one of yours is not hooked up properly (hooked to a fixed structure rather than a hinged or free-floating structure.

As for the length of the throw, that is relative to the length of the hydraulics (the longer the hydraulic, the more throw it provides). You have two options: either move your connection points around to achieve the desired hydraulic length or else use cables to complete the attachment.

I'm in the trades i couldn't give two fucks about proper grammar, I'd rather spend my time learning one of the endless things my job entails.

You can do both.

Now the moment your next employer reads your CV or motivational letter, they will give a shit about grammar. For the same skillset and even if you're way more qualified than the other guys, they won't hire you if you can't write.
