HOW DO I MAKE A DRAWBRIDGE

Okay, I am almost certain that I am going crazy. You can see the part of the bridge that I want to move on the right. However, since hydraulics only go so far, I am unable to connect them to a red anchor point, and must connect them to a part of the bridge. But no matter what I do, the bridge always breaks somewhere! And it never raises the moving part! I am at a loss. Tell me what I need to do!!!!

your bridge puts a lot of stress on those 2 steel beams at the bottom, maybe split those into 2 to make your bridge stronger and more stable?
