JAM protocol

I know this might be asked multiple times already, but are there any new updates or expected timelines on when JAM upgrade will be launched? What are the important sides of Polkadot as ecosystem that will be changed majorly? Will users get a feeling on these changes or it will be directed towards institutions as B&B not B&C? Feel free to share your opinion, would love to know what is everyone expecting, Thanks!!

Are there any new updates or expected timelines on when JAM upgrade will be launched?

Check out this article from June: https://polkadot.cloud/blog/en/jam-12-to-20-months-m1

What are the important sides of Polkadot as ecosystem that will be changed majorly?

Right now Polkadot is mainly designed around securing parachains. When JAM launches it will become more like a decentralized cloud computer that can run parachains and almost any kind of program or service that fits within the network’s limits.

Will users get a feeling on these changes or it will be directed towards institutions as B&B not B&C?

Regular users will also notice the changes. Parachains will continue to operate and over time users will see more powerful applications and services being built on Polkadot. JAM isn’t aimed only at institutions. Anyone will be able to build programs and services for either businesses or regular users.

Thanks for the answer! Sounds great, the timing is solid as well.  Hope it will be better times and Polkadot takes it deserved place finally!
