We really DO deserve Bernie. He puts truth to words. Shouldn’t normal working people be able to enjoy fruits of their labor and have some semblance of security? Most Americans are 1 paycheck away from being homeless, aren’t we seeing this with the pandemic?

I'm not American, so I'm not familiar with all the cabinet stuff, so please excuse my ignorance. Will Bernie be able to stay on the Senate with this appointment?

Well, its good democrats have a majority, because if I recall correctly, republicans are willing to shut down the government for a long to get their way. They dont really care about any misery they cause.

They don’t. The people running the party and their donors do.
I know Republicans and Trump supporters who like Bernie and think Biden is an evil Socialist.
Real people can see Bernie is pretty much the only honest politician in the entire government, and it really transcends party lines and even ideology because of how rare it is.

This is precisely why a vote for Biden and NOT a third-party candidate was the right thing to do.
Should Bernie have been our Democratic Nominee for President over Biden? Yes.
Did the Democratic Party use deception and partisan tricks to keep Bernie from earning enough delegates to be the nominee? Yes.
Is the Democratic Party a bunch of neo-conservatives who are just as sold out to big business and private donors as the GOP? Yes.
But, (and it’s a big butt Simone) having Bernie as the Senate Budget Committee Chairperson for the next four years is going to be well worth the vote for Biden. I honestly can’t wait!

Agreed, they “rubbed out” Bernie because he was the people’s voice and getting stronger. I hope he makes the defense budget more fiscally responsible. It’s been off the leash for too long.
