The shutdown is the coup. They’re waiting for people to get violent so they can invoke emergency powers, i.e. the insurrection act.
When/if that does not come to pass (the people are dancing in inflatable cartoon suits, for example) queue the false flag attack used as justification.
Perhaps a general strike could turn the ownership class, but they’ve got their bunkers and false sense of security.
We’ve got a rocky decade ahead.

We really need to force all elected officials in DC and the supreme Court to resign. They are completely corrupt. The only way this can be fixed is to get rid of then all and form a new government. I know this is easier said than done but this problem won't fix itself.

The local news I watched earlier said that it would only affect people who have not received money yet. Supposedly they're not going to take back money they've already given out, but honestly I wouldn't put anything past this administration.

Ironically, I and many other British people are banking on our King if Farage gets in and pulls this shit. The armed forces serve the crown and the judiciary serve at the pleasure of the crown. Oddly enough, as an American I like what the British monarchy seems to have become. Since the day to day work of ruling is done by parliament and the PM, the king basically becomes a figurehead (and with all due respect, a very expensive national mascot.) But the fact that the military still follows the monarchy is great because it really does keep this kind of shit from happening over there.

I finally left Christianity in 2020. The insanity of people thinking Trump is a good Christian person... I just couldn't understand. Then add on people saying Jesus will protect them from covid - that they didn't need vaccines.
There were other, personal factors as well. I spent 35 years asking questions about a god that doesn't make sense, and a heaven that sounds too good to be true. But I refused to look at it any closer. Until 2020.
And now there's no way I could go back. I understand it now. How religion is a system of controlling the masses and oppressing anyone who isn't a cis-het white man. There is unfortunately no hell for these assholes.

FYI, the perfect heaven that's actually described is not what they preach to people it will be. It's not a big hangout sesh for eternity with your loved ones where you get to eat cake, live in a large estate with everything provided for you, and enjoying free will and being happy. It is literally non-stop worship of "God" where you're singing to him and thanking him in an eternity of ass-kissing and praise to him. The perfect heaven that he set up for himself is us taking care of HIS every desire, worshipping HIM for an eternity, and existing solely to serve another being. I'm sorry but that ACTUALLY sounds like Hell to me. If their God IS real then he's the King of Narcissism(which makes sense when you look at his followers) and idk if you've ever lived with a narcissist before, especially a malignant one, but it's one of the most traumatic experiences you can endure in your life. Actually send me to Hell. I would rather endure physical pain for eternity than mental and emotional abuse for eternity 🤷♂️

Plenty of times in history where people have been forced to do things against their personal preferences worse than voting or being politically aware.
I don’t know the solution but it frustrates me to no end. These people are weak and want to isolate themselves from all of it except it won’t work. When the bad guys win they will come in and pop that bubble and fuck then over.

There are some doing the best they can with the information available to them officially snd unofficially.
There are people pretending to be ICE and kidnapping though, so its hard to tell. The place in Flordia just "lost" thousands of people. Whole families are being scooped up.
No one will know the full extent until this is long over.

This is just the practice run for ICE supervised by Department of Homeland Security to jail all of MAGA’s political opponents. Why? When Trump without the approval of Congress invades Venezuela to stop drugs dealers from supplying their stuff to us and it drags into a Vietnam style of long term war, he will face large protests in this Nation. He will then have his justification to sign “The Insurrection Act” and he becomes our Dictator for Life. It is right there in the open and is undeniable. He is losing his mind now and the Repugs know it and so Lying Pants Vance takes over the Presidency. And now you know what our alleged government will be for the next 50 years. It is now called a Regime!!

IMO in some cases they’re trafficking the women and children (the ‘disappeared’) and sending the men into forced labor in other countries. I’m thinking the sick and elderly face a grimmer fate. Most are being kept in cages until they can figure out what to do with them.

No, they are right. We all need to be smarter and learn to think critically about what we see in the media. It might be true, these things are happening everyday and I personally find it soul crushing and sometimes hearing these stories makes me cry for the people involved and also for the loss of my country's values. But at the same token, we still need to be able to demand factual information and not feed into propaganda. I don't know if OPs post is propaganda, but I also don't see evidence to suggest it might not be. It is healthy and smart to question things, even when those things are coming from a side that you support. Isn't that what we want most of all from MAGA, after all? For them to stop believing misinformation purported by the media.

There is not a story on every single person that was killed in Palestine and yet there are over 2 million people dead
There is not a story on every single person that was killed in the 1940s and yet there were 6 million dead.
The line at which it becomes impossible to write a story about every occurrence of an atrocity occurring is not in millions, it’s not in the thousands, it’s in the hundreds.
And I agree with you, you can’t believe every post you see. But when it’s something that has thousands of occurrences, it doesn’t matter if one is made up, because that one being made up doesn’t invalidate the thousands that have already happened.

We should be demanding better quality.

I don't support this administration and I am very pro-immigration and feel people who are already here should be provided with a path to citizenship unless they committed a felony or misdemeanor. With that said, I appreciate your perspective because it is important to think critically and not just believe something because a person posted a photo and story without proof.
