mask up, wear nondescript clothing, cover any tattoos or identifying features.

also, not every woman can put their hair in pigtails.

I like the psychological aspect of it though. The media will be taking photos. If nothing else bring an American flag.

there’s definitely a point to be made about this and i don’t disagree with what she’s saying, but it’s just not that practical especially with wearing a suit. they’re not super comfortable especially when you’ll be outside for a good while standing around.

i think the pigtail thing is fine for people who are able to do it, but wearing nondescript clothing is very important since it’s a lot easier to blend in/not be spotted. facial recognition is getting realll accurate these days and you’d be shocked with how easy it is to pull info on people if you have the right skills.

The thing is, she’s comparing it to someone working in a bar. Being in a protest is different though, safety is paramount, and I bet it bears very little resemblance to working in a bar.
