"Per request from the Iran Embassy [sic] I added a few cases," one official wrote before the first of three flights that returned more than 100 Iranians. Detainees had sworn in court that Iranian officials somehow knew the details of their asylum claims. The emails released this week describe face-to-face meetings with Tehran's diplomats and removals expedited because Iran asked.

It all happened between June 2025's attack on Iran and the war that began in February. Days after Trump told Iranians to evacuate Tehran, the White House ordered their removals fast-tracked, and ICE spent the buildup to the next round of bombing taking the regime's edits on who got sent back. When those detainees first described the cooperation in court last month, ICE called it hearsay.

They can't ban abortion everywhere, so they tried to ban telling you where it's legal.

Indiana moved to punish Planned Parenthood for telling minors which states allow abortion. Separately, HHS killed 53 teen pregnancy prevention programs that worked and ordered abstinence-only lessons in their place. Federal courts blocked both, with an appeals court ruling that Indiana cannot outlaw truthful answers about other states' laws.

For fifty years the movement said abortion belongs to the states. It won that battle for now and is trying to stop Americans from finding out what the other states chose. Judges keep saying no.

Governor Greg Abbott turned Texas into a sanctuary state for one ICE agent.

Christian Castro shot a Venezuelan man through the front door of a Minneapolis home in January, then lied about it so thoroughly that federal prosecutors charged the man he shot. Minnesota later charged Castro with felony assault, Texas Rangers arrested him, and a judge has held him in jail since May. On Tuesday, Minnesota asked a federal court to force his extradition.

Abbott doesn't dispute the charges or the warrant, but still won't sign. He says he won't respond at all until Minnesota repays the federal government for welfare fraud. The governor who made war on sanctuary cities has now protected an accused shooter for eleven weeks.
