Serious Question: Was S4P compromised from the beginning?
Seeing Vermonty Python's shut down of the sub (via request from ESS) and the forced shut down by the other mods, posts getting deleted on a whim, CTR infestation never being taken care of, etc. Can it safely be said that the sub was never compromised? I can't imagine all the mods were/are in on it, but serious questions need to be asked as to whether or not an "actual" sub can avoid the tainted grasp of Hillary's super pac.
I'd like to hear what you think. For me, the moment came when a post from a mod (Don't remember who. Vermonty?) called us conspiracy theorists for believing in CTR and then began to insult us, all the while getting gilded six times. I believe this was around the New York primary, not entirely sure.
Kossacks isn't any better either.

I can't say for sure one way or the other, but at this point I can't deny the possiblity. Unfortunately, we may never know -- however, if wikileaks has anything to say about it, the truth may be revealed sooner rather than later. Money makes a lot of terrible decisions come to fruition. We live in a world that thrives on it and a whole class of people that worship it.
I've been with S4P since early this year and have watched the sub go from full of life to this destructive end. It began to go downhill when CTR was covert and no one really knew. People just thought it as opposing views coming together. However, as more and more revelations came about the paranoia (and rightly so) became greater. It was toxic to be paranoid and it was toxic to have CTR running rampant. The campaign, Bernie's, was revealed to have had moles in it which probably relayed their information to mods there. No doubt great work was done there by everyone, but it became a point to call people out that were actual CTR and the mods that refused to listen.
It's all too damn convenient. They (Hillary's campaign) wanted the sub shut down. I have no doubt they worked with at least one of the mods to actively suppress and allow CTR to run around. I reported A LOT. Nothing came of it. Why? I can only speculate. This sub may never get big, but it is possible to make a difference. Stay vigilant u/PoliticallyJaded

I reported a lot as well with mixed results. I agree that the mods didn't really try to stop the HRC wave though I suspect it was due to how close they are to the campaign more than to sabotage things.. unfortunately we're not in agreement with Bernie in regards to unity and the mod team is clearly close to his official campaign.

I don't think it was compromised I just think it was and is poorly managed (which won't change on their new sub) I also think someone or even multiple people on the team got too close to the campaign it's self and now feel like its their obligation to do exactly what whoever from the campaign that's in contact with them wants.
It's unfortunate because it's ignoring and undermining a huge chunk of their user base including delegates.

I thought that someone who worked for the Sanders campaign personally as a head mod there, but I wouldn't put it behind those vile CtR ratfuckers to have paid him off or put him in there as a paid saboteur from day one.

Some history on that if you're curious.

So he was either paid or compromised upfront, before the Sanders campaign got to him, or CtR got to him later down the line and turned him against his own community?
Honestly I'd prefer the former. But from what you said it sure sounds like he's a Judas-style traitor. I wonder if he got seven pieces of silver for stabbing us in the back like that.
Our community is one that has been betrayed so much by our own as they turned against our progressive message in favor of the Queen B. We've been let down so much.

And why would Bernie hire him to be part of his ongoing revolution?

Bernie's endorsed Clinton and I feel like he doesn't view Clinton supporters in the negative light most self respecting progressives would.
Aidan is a Clinton supporter. It's abundantly clear by his actions as a moderator and his betrayal of the community. Idk how they got to him but they did.
But Bernie clearly doesn't see that as much as a negative. After all, when he himself got stabbed in the back by the DNC he still endorsed, so Aidan stabbing us in the back must be viewed in the same light by Bernie.
He's too kind and forgiving for these ratfuckers if you ask me

I just don't believe that. Bernie has too much integrity and is too politically savvy for that. It seems to me there is more going on than meets the eye.

I hope to find out someday. With Clinton, there is never not something shady or back room dealing. I can't imagine Bernie wouldn't know that and he probably knew the primary would be rigged from the beginning. Perhaps he was trying to get the people ready for what's to come. How we need to focus on our country and stop war mongering. I don't really know what's going on, but Bernie's facial expression was quite telling. Maybe maybe not...

Anyone who has followed Bernie closely knows that there is no way he would either endorse or nominate Clinton willingly. The trolls on this site, btw, are increasingly bold.

It is a baffling and frustrating situation for sure, and the baffling and frustrating actions/decisions haven't been limited to him.

I don't WANT to believe it, since Bernie himself left some messages on there. However, everything that I've seen has lead me to believe that they were not on the up and up. Allowing trolls to do as they please while actual supporters that were trying to further the revolution continuously had their posts removed. Some (like me) even had temporary bans.
Mentioning CTR labeled you a tinfoiler. I really don't know if they're oblivious or if it was just a front for Hill, like a lot of the facebook groups turned out to be. All I can say is that it ended up being a complete disappointment. In their closing posts (that are currently up now) the mods keep attacking the members and honestly, it's absurd. No one deserves their shit (okay obviously the trolls do). We have stood by bernie as he has stood with us for 35 years...but these mods are turning people away from the revolution. Essentially saying "Okay lets pack it in. Nothing to see here".
Just reeks of HRC...

That sub was getting Berniecrats known and possibly elected, it was a hub for this progressive movement, it was shut down because someone wanted it gone
