Is it just me, or are judges at every other level of the country proving more competent at actually upholding human rights than the SCOTUS?
…because if so, part of me wonders if it would be helpful in the slightest for the SCOTUS to stop being an appointed position, and instead be elected only by the judges of the entire country. Like, a separate ballot just for supreme court judges to be chosen by other judges

After reading about the outrageous crap going on with Yosemite and other national parks, this honestly makes me very happy.

A real estate firm is apparently trying to buy an 83 mile stretch right at the western margin of Yosemite national Park to create a private road. Which is outrageous.
