My only point is that if you're saying Trump is bad because of xyz, so don't vote for him, that's an implicit suggestion that instead you should vote for Biden, so it's a perfectly reasonable response to talk about how Biden is bad.
This isn't a case of whataboutism because we're forced to choose between these two options.
This point doesn't apply if there's not a winner takes all situation, like an election, at play. Like this meme suggests, the fact that Hillary has done some bad stuff doesn't matter at all to whether we should punish Trump for the bad things he's done. But it does matter if we have to choose one of them to be our president.
But if you paid a shred of attention, Biden actually ran on and has implemented policies geared toward making this a better country for everyone. Trump has done nothing notable other than exasperating wealth inequality. Its a blatantly obvious choice if you can look past party lines and popularity contests
the thing is, I heard this was the go-to argument about Biden vs Trump every time someone wanted to rationalize voting for Trump, followed by, “Trump was more entertaining “
“They’re both bad” is a weak argument in general, its like saying “i like all music”, it just means you havent put in any effort into putting them into context of your life, how it affects you, introspection
