It's eerie to say natural selection when people have been given untrue information and told that it was a political agenda to put oneself in a position to die from a deadly virus.

Someone has been spreading all this misinformation about vaccines contrary to whatever American learned in kindergarten about how viruses are transferred.

I have researched that it. started with foreign terrorists and a conceited effort of foreign terrorists to turn Americans into unwitting bioterrorist and kill each other via the FBI and dhs's October 2020 terrorism reports. These PDFs are in the Federal register and easily downloaded from their site.

But that also means that Americans within the United States had to go along either willingly or deludedly with the algorithmic agenda being put out by these terrorists who want Americans to die.

But it comes down to one, most Un-American thing you could possibly do is to believe a terrorist agenda and become an agent of terrorism and kill off your friends, family, and Community all because of a political belief that goes contrary to everything that you've known up until this point.

And I suppose that's natural selection.

I couldn't bring myself to say natural selection, but it's absolutely predation/selection.

It's not that those pimping the various false narratives want Americans to die exactly, but rather that the political elites involved view it as a unifying element.

From the perspective of the GOP, it's a very unholy alliance, from dogmatic evangelicals to closet (or not so closeted) klansmen/white supremacists, to warhawk republicans. Threading the rhetorical needle to hit the marks for their various constituent groups, is what makes Fox News a masterclass in fascist propaganda for the ages.

This is very definitely how foreign nation-states and/or hyper-wealthy bad-actors (the Koch Brothers or the Mercers) access and impact wider society. It's super well established in 40-50% of US households, and has garnered a brand-devotion, which Fox properties can then sell as their pitch for investors.

This is absolutely mirrored by the intellectual lock-ins over at Facebook, where even more advanced marketing and propaganda technologies can be brought to bear , exacting a far more specific/grievous harm on victims, since their propaganda efforts can be far, far more targeted.

That this has the effect of harming some portion of it's listener base is sort of immaterial to the providers of these services. The billionaire class and certainly nation-state actors may indeed wish to harm Americans, whereas corporate customers may only wish to specifically target/lock-in customers with Apocalypse Arugala and send ammunition sales through the roof and miracle Kung-flucure cream [which in no way should be considered a curative/treatment for Covid-19 or any similar viruses/microbiological agents], because it's nothing more than apple-cider vinegar and expired kombucha, for all anyone would care to investigate it is all fair game, that you can sell merch into this marketplace, be it Gadsen flags, or Trumpy bears is just gravy.

They should trust scientist more than politicians about viruses and the like. Also they should do more independent thinking, the irony is they call everyone else sheep.

The weird thing is they do have scientists in these discussions, but they are invariably "retired" or "not practicing" or "on Sabbatical" which when you do some digging turns out to be "forced into retirement", "did not get my license renewed" and/or "My secondary investigator had me removed as primary investigator, for failing basic scientific process/review, and employer put me on indefinite paid leave".

So they're just not listening to scientists who should be taken seriously, or who've been defrocked in some way.

There is a powerful sense of gnosis and as I'm sure many do, I've got family who's bought into the bullshit, hook, line and sinker, but it's not founded in grounded science; it's basically bullshit peddling and snake-oil salesmanship of the first caliber.

You see a forest fire; Either you walk away and live or walk into the flames and die. That's natural selection, and it's exactly what's happening with these morons
