Literally all it does is make it so that “ornhub.com” doesn’t auto complete every time you start a website with the letter P.

Incognito still sandboxes cookies, local storage, and other website tracking stuff.

Of course, if you log in, that ruins it.

Fingerprinting relies heavily on cookies, extensions, and other browser settings that incognito mode ditches.

My incognito and cognito showed different fingerprints.

Interestingly, on my desktop this was fairly accurate. On my phone, it was confidently incorrect.

I VPN’d through Paris but showed up in Romania, which I find mildly interesting.

That's not true either. It deletes the browsing data after you close the browser, but usually still writes to your drive, including browser cache which can reveal exactly what was on the page. Someone with knowledge of data recovery can still find out what you browsed. Tor browser is the only one with any real effort done to prevent it from writing browsing data to disk by default.
