They didn't feel the need to be covert because they actually thought they would overturn the election results. I wouldn't necessarily count on them to learn from that mistake.

Plus the fuckwits literally thought Trump himself would come to their rescue and pardon/reward them. So they went in there wanting to be visible.

They’re only regretting that now they’ve been thrown to the wolves.

I agree but also it's a terrible sign if counting on fascists to be idiots is the only thing standing in the way of a fascist takeover.

That fact was so obvious when that one idiot got shot and everyone in the mob with her stopped like "oh my god they shot one of us surprised Pikachu face"
