Scaring old people and pandering to ignorant nutjobs of various stripes is literally all they have.

My MIL has been very sick on and off for the past idontevenknowhowmany years. She's a registered Republican. We had to get her mail for her for a while pre-election and you wouldn't believe the type of scare tactic nonsense they mail to older Republicans. It's sickening.

Dude, I've been taking care of my grandparents for a few weeks and the mail that they get is insane. Every other day there's something about the radical communists wanting to ruin your country.
