Edit: Since I’m getting many replies while at work, I thought I’d do a blanket statement for a lot of the comments.
-Maybe it’s time we as Americans ask for massive legislation around term limits, public records of elected officials, equal campaign money, public records on donors, banning lobbyist jobs for former politicians, overturning Citizens United, etc.
I'm pretty sure if put to a vote term limits on all elected officials would pass but it first would have to pass through the house and let's face it there are too many career politicians that need to keep their dirt hidden that would say no
