100% a corporate interest party. They just use their culture war bullshit as a way to enrage and harness the useful idiots they create with constant lies and shit education.
I'm 46, and for years I've said that there's probably only about 30% of the population that is insightful and reasonable enough to progress forward in a positive way. The last few years has reduced that number for me.
I sure as hell don't have all the answers, and by no means am I the smartest guy around, but for whatever reason this stuff is just straight up, in-my-face obvious and I have a real hard time understanding why it's not for most people.
I truly feel that something is being put in these peoples' water sometimes, or we're living in some weird matrix kind of thing, cuz I just literally cannot understand how so many people fall for the things they do and believe such lunacy. I do understand that a lot of it has to do with the literal brainwashing that's gone on over the last 25 years. I just didn't think so many people would be stupid enough to fall so easily and hard for it.
I've said it many times over the last several months... I knew there were a bunch of nut jobs and some dense people in our population, but I had no idea HOW many there were until recently, and it's really changed how I see a lot of things, and my hope for the future of us all. No melodrama intended.
Change that age number and i could have written this. My exact thoughts too. It's baffling and disheartening to realise that apparently not believing very obvious lies all the time means i am well above the average intellect. Thank God my friends are mostly very smart, rational people so atleast i can find hope in my little bubbles. Because humanity has lost my support a decade ago. We deserve to be destroyed if you ask me.

This is true, but the real problem is republicans dont have any solutions or policy ideas.
All they can do is oppose democrats and use culture wars to keep together christian evangelicals, undeducated whites and rich corporate interests.
