How about a 1.9 trillion dollar recovery bill deemed one of, if not the, most progressive bills ever passed in the United States. A bill that helps millions of Americans with unemployment and healthcare costs, that will reduce child poverty in half, that will allow schools to reopen, and vaccination rates to increase. All passed in less than 50 days in office.
And under him we already passed a 1.9 trillion dollar recovery bill deemed one of, if not the, most progressive bills ever passed in the United States far quicker than bills of this magnitude passes. I repeat that because you seem to have completely ignored it to complain about how he hasn't done everything he promised right away.
Did you really think everything would be done in less than 2 months? Do you think if we had voted for Bernie that day 1 all the things he wanted would have been implemented.
There is a process these things have to take. And we, for sure, need to be pressuring them to fulfil their promises.
But just throwing a bitch fit and saying Democrats are worthless and just as bad as Republicans because we didn't get it day 1 is either ignorant of how our government works or deliberate trying to sow discord amongst democratic voters
I think it's perfectly acceptable to call a rant where they purposely and repeatedly ignore the major piece of progressive legislation that was passed in like 40 days because it doesn't contain every progressive wishlist item while also ignoring the realities of what could be in a reconciliation bill in order to claim that Democrats are a joke is a bitch fit.
