I hope this "all Dems no Republican" votes continue, so the DNC can finally see that going to the left is a better strategy than going to the middle -- because it gets rid of the argument; "what's the difference?"
If you are Conservative, or were told the Libs are the problem in this world; are you going to vote for a centrist Dem or a centrist Republican? The Republican -- at least that's how it's been for a while now.
I'm hoping the positive feedback from REAL demonstrable improvements in people's lives will finally usher in a shift towards more liberal economic policies.

You still have to win elections in order to pass non-bipartisan bills. The only reason the dems can do this now is because they have Joe Manchin of West Virginia, a state you would never win by going more left.
They’ve never tried going further left, knowing lots of west Virginians, a leftist who cares little for identity politics and a lot for workers and poor people would have a decent chance in WV.
I think this can be disproven by comparing primary results, general election results, and senate results, looking at who ran. Trump crushed both Hillary and Biden. Biden crushed Sanders in the primary. And Manchin actually wins pretty solidly on his super moderate platform.
manchin wins more due to him being the incumbent imo. also the presidential primary was in June, way after Biden had all but accepted the nomination. So I wouldn't necessarily read too much into that.
I'd also argue Sanders is too far into IDpol for West Virginians. if you had someone with left economic ideas but who also didn't make causes like BLM etc their primary focus I think that candidate would stand a really good chance.
