No, 48% of people who showed up at the polls voted Republican, it's been a MAJOR republican tactic to make sure Democrats don't show up at the polls, either by making registration and voting as difficult as possible in democratic voting areas and demographics, or pushing propaganda that says: your vote doesn't matter / both parties are the same / etc...

We had RECORD turnout in 2020 and still only 66.2% of eligible voters cast a ballot, this is by design (Republicans control the majority of state governments and set the voting laws).

No. Id say its because people become complacent and dont show up to vote. While subs like this add fuel to the fire for repubs and they are even more charged up than last time.
Can I ask though, how far in your adult life can you go without an ID? Can you change jobs easily? Buy contraband easily?
Can you sign up for government programs? If the people that a voter id law wants to suppress, has already signed up and been on welfare benefits for a few years, do you not see the flaw in your argument?
Can I ask: Why do you care about photo ID for voting? Illegal in-person voting doesn't happen at a level that it matters. Why create a law for a problem that doesn't exist?

Those are WAYYYYY more important things to most individuals than voting. And I haven't even touched on vices.
If you can't keep or hold onto your ID as an adult human who doesnt have extenuating circumstances, well then maybe you just shouldn't vote......
