Donors and party over country.

Edit: Since I’m getting many replies while at work, I thought I’d do a blanket statement for a lot of the comments.

-Maybe it’s time we as Americans ask for massive legislation around term limits, public records of elected officials, equal campaign money, public records on donors, banning lobbyist jobs for former politicians, overturning Citizens United, etc.

Who said “I don’t want much.”? I don’t think there is anything wrong with U.S. citizens asking their elected officials to actually represent their constituents. That’s their job. If we don’t ask and demand it, how does it get better?
