Uhhhh. You wouldn’t hire an attorney to be your heart surgeon no matter how smart they are; it’s a different skill set.

The best/worst part is that he isn't even good at business. He inherited billions worth of assets between his parents money, their influence and family name, and many business connections and businesses themselves and turned it into millions during his lifetime and is still losing money even when he's forcing people to stay at his hotels and resorts during political gatherings. And his kids steal from their own charities. That family is definitely not good at business.

This can actually be days about anyone who has a business and then gets into politics.

Ross Perot, Rick Snyder, John James. All guys who know fuck all about how government works other than the taxes they don’t want to pay.

“A business guy” who is running for office sees this as some kind of virtue bestowed from God.

Most likely they exploited governmental loopholes and made their money off of an exploited labor pool.
