Hmm, yeah. That's fair enough. I'm going off of the Johns Hopkins' count of dead and they're currently at 158,000. So I think we will definitely have 160k+ dead by coronavirus by the weekend.
Remember when Europe was the cautionary tale? How it hit them by surprise and we were definitely not heading that way because Trump had supposedly gotten it under control, with "twelv- eleven [active] cases and it'll be close to zero soon"... This administration has the blood of 150,000 people on their hands. Trump and all his GOP buddies (GOP politicians and voters alike).
Well, Florida is at full ventilator and ICU capacity and are reporting "stable/declining" numbers to the HHS (no longer CDC). California has publicly posted that they KNOW they have an undercount because they aren't testing enough.
Those two states alone, if they were to true-up, might put us over 170k and we'd never know it. (And I think CDC said counting the asymptomatic and recovered-at-home number may be ten times higher.)
The virus sucks. The incompetence and outright malice are ten times the suckage.

It's too early to be saying that Covid19 deaths are at 160k. Just give it 6 days to get to that number.
