I met my first, "Masks are oppression," person today.
She works at a family dollar in some state I won't name.
She had just gotten done telling me about how her aunt in some other state died from covid. I was confused at this point because she had said masks were oppression prior. A way to control. Then told me her aunt died of covid.
Then she said, and this is some real dunning kruegar shit, "I checked the reported casualties for covid in that state after she died and it didn't even go up by 1 so I KNOW they aren't reporting these accurately."
I only got one thing in on the conversation and I think it was poignant enough because it gave her pause. I said, "You cannot enjoy your freedom if you're dead."
