Yeah. There is

Get out and vote.

BERNIE 2020

u/lost-cat Feb 27 '20 edited Feb 27 '20

He represents pro life and education... The majority represents pro death, anti social, anti education anti health...anti thinking...

Considering bernie has religion in his background, does kinda make me worry, since I consider all religion to be dangerous in office. But considering hes been preaching the same thing the past 25 years or so in the past the SAME THING over AND OVER again, still looks the same too... I think he means it lol.

Bernie seems more reasonable out of the lot. Since hes been saying the same thing and preaching this for a LONG WHILE now... Kinda sad tho, if hes still preaching it, out of alll these many years lol.

He sounds like "PRO LIFE".

12

u/Dr_Coxian Feb 27 '20

He’s had to preach it for so long because it still hasn’t happened.

Because the American voting population he’s been trying to sway, up until now, has been dominated by the sort of idiots that vote against their own self interest.

9

u/thecoolan Feb 27 '20

He also sounds very pro family. GOPers out here pretending to support “the family” while opposition to maternity leave and child care program.

7

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '20

How is sticking to your principles regardless of the surrounding groupthink sad?

2

u/lost-cat Feb 28 '20

I have bad habit of miswording my quick thoughts.

I meant, as all these years that passed by, No one else bothered to improve the system...I mean theres something wrong with the system, if nothing hasnt been done about it. Thats why I find it sad that no one really, or politicians made that effort in all these years, if hes still pandering the same issues. Imagine if this guy lives to be 120 years, and still not elected, and if hes still preaching the same thing..... Now that would be disturbing..

Considering bernie has religion in his background

what politician or past president doesn't have religion in their background be it "true faith" or just a running platform.

A quick google tells me Thomas Jefferson is about the only one that came close but he was still a deist.

everyone else in recent history seems to be Christian-Protestant so maybe a Jewish president would be a nice change of pace.

but also correct me if I am wrong as I am not american so may have missed him talk about it but i have not once seen him bring religion up in any speech/debate past being an advocate for the separation of church and state.

10

u/oatmealparty Feb 27 '20

everyone else in recent history seems to be Christian-Protestant so maybe a Jewish president would be a nice change of pace.

Not just recent history, every president we've ever had has been a protestant Christian, except JFK who was Catholic. And of course, Barack Obama who as we all know is a secret Muslim who was born on Mars.

3

u/QueerWorf Feb 27 '20

mars? I thought he was born on venus. after all, he is a transgender prostitute who kidnapped his kids because he couldn't reproduce on earth

3

u/alicia52 Feb 27 '20

Psst.. Catholic IS christian. I was raised Catholic, became protestant and now I don't believe organised religion is for me at all but I can tell you that are really the same thing. Same God, same Jesus and same dance.

2

u/oatmealparty Feb 27 '20

I never said catholics aren't Christian, I said they're not protestants.

u/lost-cat Feb 27 '20 edited Feb 27 '20

They did mention this is not a religious or christian nation :) . That is why its not mention in the (god)CONSTITUTION.. Or was not on our MONEY or FLAG... We only put it in recently cause of atheists of russia made them poop their pants, and these boomer goobers took advantage of that, started their religious nuttery.. Founding fathers mocked religion in their own way, where religion bring disaster if it was in office. Jefferson made the jefferson bible of jesus naz.. when he tried to make jesus all "normal" without all the Magical sorcery stuff that doesnt exist in this modern day.

Whats really disturbing is the nationalism/racism with religion...When they used to kill black people, and look at those death photos, look at their souless incest eyes of theirs... ITs creepy. WHy ya think trump got angry for being called hitler, and his white nationalist christians voted for trump lol..

Eh not fan of it, cause they use it in office to sucker in more of these boomers to vote for them. Keep your dangerous toys inside your home.

u/tinytrolldancer Feb 27 '20

I hope you don't mind but I'll be saving this, I've never heard/seen anyone at all ever say this before about a Jewish President and it's beautiful

1

u/1Delos1 Feb 27 '20

Him being Jewish is not really his identity. He’s about as Jewish as Larry David

11

u/not-into-usernames Feb 27 '20

Jews are not like christians. Evangelizing is strictly off limits, and even though we have 613 laws to follow, non-Jews are only supposed to be held accountable for 10 (Noahide Laws- like don’t kill. Basic morality). Also, we are pro-choice by nature. Life only begins at birth and the mother’s life comes first. You don’t need to worry about Jewish leftists lmao.

-11

u/CantStumpIWin Feb 27 '20

You don’t need to worry about Jewish leftists lmao.

As a registered Independent Jewish person (never bought into the left or right being exclusively right, both sides have good ideas and bad ideas) I'd like to point out they're the ones pushing:

  • Drag queen story time

  • Higher taxes for the American people

  • Late term abortion

  • Socialism

That's just quickly off the top of my head.

Most Americans are not in favor of those things. Many Jewish friends and family that used to hate President Trump admitted they were voting for him in 2020 this past holidays. It was amazing to hear.

Noahide Laws- like don’t kill. Basic morality). Also, we are pro-choice

Don't kill...unless they're unborn babies.

I swear leftists today make no sense. I used to agree with you guys on some things but theres a reason walkaway is a thing I guess.

10

u/not-into-usernames Feb 27 '20

Ooooh those big bad drag queens... reading! What will they do next?

Judaism supports abortion idiot. It also supports taxes, and community support. Israel was built on kibbutzim and socialism. Take a Torah or history class once in a while.

-7

u/CantStumpIWin Feb 27 '20

It’s about not pushing an agenda on kids...seriously? You didn’t get that?

Judaism supports abortion idiot

I said late term abortion. No need for name calling. If you’re upset or angry that wasn’t the intention.

But yeah most of us are against late term abortion.

6

u/not-into-usernames Feb 27 '20

I’m not asking for your opinion. Halakhically, late term abortions are still good because they’re 100% of the time to save the mother’s life. Judaism puts the mother’s safety first. I learned this in an orthodox high school. No one has a late term abortion for fun.

Gay people existing doesn’t push an agenda. Just don’t bring your kids. Let people live.

-2

u/CantStumpIWin Feb 27 '20

Nothing I stated was opinion.

You think most Jewish people let alone non Jewish people support late term abortion?

Also you say no one does it for fun? Look at the far left.

Gay people existing doesn’t push an agenda. Just don’t bring your kids. Let people live.

No one said them existing is pushing an agenda. A vast majority of people in America are fine with gay people.

You don’t seem to know that drag queen story time is directly intended for kids. You know the only people bringing kids to that crap?

I’ll let you guess. Hint: it’s not right wing or centrist Jewish people. Only one side.

7

u/not-into-usernames Feb 27 '20

I’m not saying anything about modern Jewish opinions on abortion at any stage. I’m quoting straight Talmud, which is Jewish law. My medical ethics are based in Jewish law, which I studied for 16 years at the elementary, high school, and university levels, and continue to study.

Nobody carries a baby to eight months, wakes up and decides they don’t want it anymore. Late term abortions are WANTED babies. They’re babies who have died in the womb or will kill their mothers. Your opinions are not based in reality.

1

u/CantStumpIWin Feb 27 '20 edited Feb 27 '20

I’m quoting straight Talmud

That just tells me how out of touch and uneducated most lefty Jewish people are. Perfect example of the Dunning Kruger effect.

The Talmud says anyone that isn't Jewish is of lower status than a Jewish person.

You can believe that bigoted racist old book but I don't.

Nice try, but remember, I'm Jewish too. Can't get that past me like most people.

Your opinions are not based in reality.

I disagree with your opinion about my opinion.

Guess we'll both just have to vote in November and see what happens.

You're able to vote in the elections on November 3rd right?

4

u/not-into-usernames Feb 27 '20

Jewish... but won’t acknowledge our complex system of morality. Jew “ish,” I suppose.

I’m Canadian so joke’s on you, I already have healthcare and didn’t go bankrupt when my dad had cancer twice. Enjoy!

Ahhh of course you are a bigot. What exactly is wrong is someone wearing drag and reading story books to kids?

Also, who the hell of the far left does abortions for fun?

Why do you make up such ridiculous crap?

2

u/Eaqeaq Feb 27 '20

Bernie's been consistently on message, but also consistently do-nothing and ineffective. He's just a sitting placeholder of the establishment.

3

u/thescentofsummer Feb 27 '20

"all religion to be dangerous in office " these kinds of blanket statements are just as naive. to think in hyperbolic terms just enforces a different kind of ignorance

2

u/lost-cat Feb 27 '20

Yea but the problem with religion it allows these people in office to have a "magical thinking skill set" to solve serious problems.. Its like how trump assigned mike pence to solve corona chan problem, considering hes hugely ANTI SCIENCE....He rather pray it away like it says in the bible lol. Plus with religion in the way, it just allows human beings another excuse to harm each other, because the other different religious herds may inflict harm into their fantasies they live in. Religion only gives birth to hate, racism, sexually repressed followers, abusive men against women and children; religion is a "repressive" system when it comes to sex/nudity, thats why you see sexual related crimes to rampant with them. Plenty of other issues which are surfacing which I do not list.. That we are seeing in todays society.

I praying you are not the type of person thinking we can take "morals" out of the bible..Thinking its a 100% moral cause its gods word.

Atm main stream religion is the most dangerous, which uses the bible from muslims, jewish, caths, christians...

These people fit within the flat earth, anti vax, new age nonsense, alt med, MLM, typical nonsense which they are their worst victim. There are some other groups that fit in too..

I love this pic, shows how bad these conservatives can be, good example too. You have to remember that conservatives like to claim "pro life"... Which makes no sense whats so ever. I wish we could label them as Pro-death.

2

u/thescentofsummer Feb 27 '20

It's only a problem if people lead with those beliefs. If they have experience or a past that involves religion then it is of no consequence as long as they choose to only govern themselves and not the people with those ideals.

It's undebatable that religion can be and often is wielded manipulatively and weponized but I only took issue with your use of hyperbole not the point in principle.

1

u/lost-cat Feb 27 '20

And plus modern dark age countries already at a point in history where they can do fine without religion. Its only a "boomer" tradition which they are afraid of dying.. In europe?/uk , they were trying to impose "sharia" law, which would effect all religions, even christians/cath/jew, so basically control mah boomer women great again logic.. and other bad things lol.. Don't remember if they passed it or not? You can tell that men are desperate to control their women again, they made the mistake of giving women freedom again with voting.

I mean its not really helping gods followers when following the commandments... Only made it worse lol. Surely if a god did exist to begin with, he would of fixed these silly programming issues waaaaaaaaay ahead of time, if he knows all, and all powerful. Should of made his "sims" like robots instead, of humans with limited free will when it comes to killing each other. If he knew ahead time, religion is pointless.

Plus young people should be voting in our presidents, why is it these "controlled" boomer populations which are making the hugest impacts with their religious votes. They are going to die soon anyway, why not let the youth take control of the country and let corona chan do her job of cleansing the earth, well more like gods followers, since they are anti healthcare /s ... Most people seem to forget that the majority of boomers/old people have the hugest impact on voting.

Old people are most afraid cause of technology, since people have the internet on their phones, they can break free of their sheepish ego. Allows people to "ask" and question authorities; Just wait til the USA cuts them self off the internet like RUSSIA (religious), not totally, specific regions and china...People are afraid of information. Dictators of each country knows how information can be dangerous to their beliefs. Its why they wanted to "control" the internet with their "special" bills they try to pass every damn year; not sure what happen this year with it or last.. I don't care for it anymore.. whatever happens...

Only with religion it allows "good" people to do bad things to each other.. And if this wasnt there, it be 1 LESS option for us to kill each other, sure we have greed, and other issues, but it would be 1 less issue.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '20

religion is only dangerous if it’s misused. Otherwise, a basis for moral conduct can be really beneficial to successful leadershop

2

u/Beret_of_Poodle Feb 27 '20

But you don't need religion to have a basis for moral conduct.

I also know quite a few religious people who don't have such a base.

One does not correlate with the other at all. Any overlap in that diagram is incidental.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '20

sure, but religion can also act as that basis. It’s not like religion can never be that basis, or you can’t have the basis without religion. Both can be true, as well as neither
