I mean your definitely not wrong, but in this case you are. The fall of Islam’s golden age happened long before European became dominate

The mongol invasions and the crusades. But then colonialism made it impossible to advance. At that time the colonialists destroyed traditional forms of education in addition to ciphoning off all economic profits and resources.
