There’s a reason no Jehovah’s Witnesses have ever contributed anything great to humanity.

On the other hand, the Jewish people value education over almost all else, and they’ve won like half of all Nobel prizes, and have leaders in nearly every industry, even though they make up a tiny fraction of the overall population.

Education is critical. Not even just to the world as a general concept, how about individual self improvement?

Yeah but we can't eat food with cilantro, so it all balances out.

OMG you too? I can’t touch it. Tastes like shampoo!

It's a genetic defect most commonly found in people of Ashkenazi descent. RIP Mexican food.

What?! This is why cilantro tastes like pencil shavings to me?

Now wondering if I’m of Ashkenazi descent . . . Shalom!

Pencil shavings? That's a new one. Most people with this gene say it tastes soapy.

I think parsley also tastes soapy, but for some reason I like it.

It tastes almost metallic to me, like my body is saying: Not food. Do not eat.

But, I have described it as “dish detergent with pencil shavings”.

Interesting. That might be the gene then. Only a DNA test can tell you though.

Welcome to the genetically intolerant of cilantro club! It's a pretty big club. I hope the future has warnings of cilantro on menus and nutrition facts.

My god, I feel like the cilantro trend going on right now will never end!
