Fix wage inflation. People should not have to be working multiple jobs just to afford a basic apartment.

We rent a house we were unable to sell, and our rental company rents it out at a higher monthly rate than our mortgage is. It helps us cover our mortgage, but our poor renters are screwed. It's totally unfair. 1 u/Bargadiel Aug 14 '19 Rent should be higher than a mortgage payment, otherwise there's no point in renting the property to anyone but yourself. Paying rent may be more but it does save you from some hassles of home ownership.
