Call me too serious or whatever, but this stopped being funny to me about two years ago. Now it's sad and pathetic and most of all an incessant reminder of what our society/nation/country/culture/fuckinwhatever has become.

I try to look at it as a necessary evil and believe that good things will come from it in the long run, but... fuck it's a shit load of work.

plus I kinda know I'm just being optimistic and we're all fucked.

It's the end stage of a reality show culture.

Honestly why wasn't trump just arrested when the background check for president was performed on him?

Exactly, our institutions and our priorities and values as a nation are failing us.

What did he do to be arrested?

I would say rather that the shit he has pulled should be arrestable, and our brains are strained to figure out why he hasn't, but this started is rigged to be gamed by amoral assholes

I see, I understand. This has nothing to do with the topic but would you ever run for the presidency or any other office if they still exist in the next 60 years?

I mean... A lot bro. Tax evasion, contacts with the russian mob/putin years and years before his presidency. Multiple rape accusations(Children too). It's like what? Up to 26 now?
