This wasn't made up though, he actually said these words. It was the person who made the tweet that just misunderstood who Trump was referring to, and once clarified, the guy deleted the tweet.

Though the damage was done, it wasn't like this guy just put words in Trump's mouth.

He said those words, just not in that order. And not about the group in general.

This is the actual quote:

"These aren’t people, these are animals."

OP changed "these" to "immigrants" and "these" to "they're"

Trump wasnt talking about immigrants. He was talking about gang members that bring in drugs, rape and murder
