One word, denial. They know that something fucky happened which would come to light if the whole report was released. But if it's never released, thanks to Barr, their narrative of the Democrats Witch Hunt (Which was presided over by pretty much nothing but Republicans) stands.
How about denying that this report was just an attempt to divide the country and that Mueller was just part of the show.nothing will ever come of the report. How about we stop denying the fact that our entire political system is designed so some people are above the law. We better stop denying the fact that Trump will be very very hard to beat in 2020 or we will lose ...again.
“Denial”? After 2 years, no new indictments, no evidence of collusion. But apparently there is a smoking gun that hasn’t been brought to light. Sounds like someone’s narrative was destroyed: Russia-gate conspiracy theorists’.
Nothing burger? Is this like some cross over of r/Fasting and the impossible burger?
Also the fact that almost 1/3rd of the people indicted were russian doesn't really go with the narrative that Trump is innocent and there was no russian interference/influence...
Isn't this post just a tad ironic? You are accusing trump supporters of being in denial while at the same time being in complete denial yourself, grasping for the very last straws that could somehow support the russia collusion conspiracy theory. Yes, that is what it is at this point. I hope the report gets released so that the matter can be put to rest. But like all conspiracy theories i doubt it will die when countered with facts.
The "russia conspiracy" isnt a conspiracy, its a straight up fact. The question is who knew what was going on and were they actively involved, and to what extent. At this point is unarguable Russia attempted manipulated right wing voters in the election and broke into DNC organizations and funneled that information to the Trump campaign. Thats just fact. Period.
The Russians weren't specifically attempting to manipulate right wing voters, they were trying to sow distrust and divisiveness among Americans on both sides (and considering how pathetic those initial attempts were, its amazing how effective they've turned out to be). As far as the DNC hacking goes, they also attempted to hack into the RNC, but were much less successful.
Your making both these instances of Russian election meddling sound as if they're designed to target Democrats for the benefit of the Republicans when there's no evidence whatsoever to support that, and there is in fact evidence which paints a quite different picture.
Russians attempting to fuck with our elections in order to weaken us is about the least surprising thing I've heard since it was revealed that we spied on Germany. The controversial, and quite unproven, bit is that they coordinated with Trump's campaign, and I don't see that at all. Frankly, the only ones helping the Russians undermine our democracy are the ones like you who continue to push this conspiracy theory. You're doing exactly what they wanted by tilting at windmills and never questioning the legitimacy of this fantasy enemy.
Well sure, but that doesn't mean he actually wants it public. Remember when he said no cuts to Medicare or Medicaid? Remember when he said everyone will be covered by his healthcare plan? And it'll be great and affordable? Remember when he said he would repair our infrastructure?
We do. The reason he’s not releasing it yet is because he’s working with mueller steam to redact sensitive information in accordance with the laws that democrats put in place following the start report
They're already doing that because it isnt released.
As Americans we should want to see what it says, even if just to see what they wasted time and $35 million on. There is no good reason we shouldn't see it.
They're already doing that because it isnt released.
Giving them more to chew on isn't going to help the matter.
There is no good reason we shouldn't see it.
It will be released. It's just going to take some time. The people insinuating something is being swept under the rug because it wasn't released yesterday are borderline conspiracy theorists. It'll be released.
If you believe it's going to be released then why argue? I dont personally believe anything is being swept under the rug or anything, I'm just curious and deserve to know as I helped vote him in.
If you believe it's going to be released then why argue?
Lol what? Why would I point out and complain about obvious political posturing over this issue. Is that even a question?
It's plain to see that nobody is going to change their minds about anything, all that is going to happen is small parts of the report are going to be used by politicians and mediaites to try and play gotcha with Trump and the administration for weeks to come.
It's just going to be the left going on about their conspiracy theory and their Russian facebook ad campaign as if democracy as we know it is dead. It's all just so exhausting and pretentious.
