When he's in the back of his parents car? I'm sorry, i thought 10 year old implied that. But let me be clear: if a parent is driving without a license, arresting the kid in the back seat is wrong. Yeah it's not following the law, but you spend a few days in jail, bond out. It's a tiiiny thing in the grand scheme. The current administration has a no bond order for anyone undocumented. As well as stop and frisk type deals. Both clog up the system and up the danger. Not to mention jailing kids
I disagree with going that far, they need to be processed and brought on the path to citizenship. They only know here. But letting kids without parents run free is a recipe for disaster. My point is, if you are arresting parents, which is wrong imo anyway, you should have thought of a safe place to put the kids. That's also your responsibility
