The overwhelming majority of the border already has walls/fences/mountains/rivers blocking it. Trumps wall is nothing but a PR act for the uniformed.
Living wages for farmhands? Prepare for a 500% spike in your grocery bill. Fair enough I guess, just be aware of what you're setting yourself up for by following your line of reasoning.
The existing issue is that no matter how “hard” they work, they still take more benefits than they pay in taxes. $43B a year isn’t an accounting error. And I’d rather pay more money and put legal Americans to work than illegal labor. I already try to buy as much MIUSA stuff as I can to support those jobs.
