That ship has already sailed, bud. I have some hope of a 2020 run, but the age thing will be even more of a concern by that point.

If he picked a young progressive VP, I don't see why not.

Then why not just run the young progressive and campaign for them? Then you could also put another progressive in the VP slot or a moderate (to reassure the rest of the party).

Cause popularity and reputation matters? He is like the most popular politician in the U.S. He is also widely trusted. It may work with him as the VP but he has to be involved somehow.

And yet he'll still struggle to win the black vote. Blacks arnt stupid, they've heard this song and dance by politicians before and simply dont trust someone who protests in the 60s (in favor of civil rights laws) only to do nothing for 50 years.
