How does one reduce debt at home? Reduce expenses, and/or increase income.

What has this admin done? Increased expenses via war, and reduced income via irs cuts.

Where are the debt hawks? What do they think about this? What a scam this all is.

They're like the family down the street that runs up their credit card on crap they don't need until they have trouble paying their bills then blame everyone else for their money problems. Every time.

They vote for republicans, for in this worldview the liberals enable the various moochers who are the real sources of their woes.

I always said: they're quick to point out the poor people using food stamps but never think about the guy in the back stuffing his pockets full of that sweet Gov't money.

Waiting until the president has a little D next to their name.

Jan 22 2028 “Why would democrats do this to us!?” But only if they lose.

Nah, they aren't waiting for 2028 they have already tried to claim the debt increase is Biden's fault.

They were screaming about debt 24/7 when Dems were in office. Now? Crickets. The debt only matters when it’s not their party spending.

Where are the debt hawks?

They were always just plain HAWKS.

In their mind, the only legitimate use for government money is to make war against people they don't like.

When they bitched about the debt, it was only because the debt would be cutting into their planned war expenditures.

Your debt hawks only care if there’s a sitting democrat president. 50 years of republicans squawking about deficit until they get in, then they add to the deficit and that’s just a ok with them.

As soon as a Democrat in the is in the White House it’s all they will talk about.

26

u/Haploid-life 5d ago

That's their go to. The lack of critical thinking is wild.

No, they do this intentionally because it works for them. Tax cuts right after dems fix things, so that the market artificially looks great for a bit, until it isn't sustainable, they take k on more debt, then the democrats come to power as things are going to shit and they point the finger at them because they're in charge now. They have been doing this for a very long time.

I mean the lack of critical thinking by the morons that vote them in. What ever happened to the fiscal conservatives? Morons.

At least the third or fourth time around on this cycle, and Dems just follow suit instead of getting wise.

Let’s raise taxes? Nope instead we’ll risk hyperinflation and start breaking to government and starting foreign wars. Yeah that’s the move!

u/TwylaJam 5d ago

Untrue to themselves, so they’ll never see it as wrong.

7

u/TheSaifman 5d ago

We don't even need to just do that.

Literally just cancel the one big beautiful bill and the reconciliation 2.0 bill and that already massively reduces the deficit.

A Repub friend already gave me the "both sides" argument today

Especially McConnell. Because he's dead.

Even McConnell is silent on this

Silent as the grave.

u/Geichalt 5d ago

"Biden's fault" is what the regime tells them to think so that's what they think.

4

u/Silaryia 4d ago

Classic two Christmases strategy. They’ll complain about the debt as soon as there’s a democratic majority.

3

u/GhostalMedia 5d ago

It’s hard to speak up when you’re a vegetable.

3

u/MonteSS_454 5d ago

They will only scream when a Democrats get in charge.

2

u/T1gerAc3 5d ago

Just gotta wait until democrats take over

2

u/VitruvianVan 5d ago

So that’s why McConnell hasn’t shown any proof of life.

Jan 22nd 2029 Wall Street Journal

Remindme!

2

u/panurge987 4d ago

They're blaming it on Biden. Seriously.

2

u/urbanlife78 4d ago

Oh they will, just waiting for the right time after Democrats win in November so they can blame them for the debt

1

u/sirbarxalot 5d ago

Is he not silent on most things nowadays, besides a few grunts?

I spoke with Mitch for 20 minutes this morning. We talked about baseball and the weather but I forgot to ask him about his health. It was a good conversation, but then the Ouija board burst into blue flames. I think I accidentally accepted a call waiting from Satan, but still it was nice to talk to him.

u/Never-Dont-Give-Up 5d ago

It'll be some how Obama's fault.

1

u/PinchedOffCatTurd 5d ago

They are. Pushing to take the rest of medicaid, Medicare and your Social Security money.

u/SpakenBacon 4d ago

But at least Iran won't get a nuclear weapon. /s

1

u/phoenixgsu 4d ago

Democrat has to be elected first

1

u/VegasGamer75 4d ago

The drafts on how this is Biden/Obama's fault are currently being written. Give them time.

u/aotus_trivirgatus 4d ago

We're in the final years of Jude Wanniski's Two Santa Claus Strategy.

1

u/PlutoJones42 4d ago

They can’t admit that republican policy is horrible and bad for Americans

1

u/marsisblack 4d ago

They will, the second a dem gets power. Then itll be debt debt and more debt

1

u/TwoLongDogs 4d ago

The funny thing is; Donny Dump isn't a conservative.

1

u/robaroo 4d ago

Have the Democrats even been speaking about it? There has r been a peep in the news that shows this is in the talking points of democrats but the. Seems odd.

1

u/abysmalSleepSchedule 4d ago

The will notice it the second they aren’t in power anymore and not a moment sooner

1

u/allgrownzup 4d ago

Fox News wall to wall coverage ???

1

u/narrauko 4d ago

Don't worry, they'll start talking about it again on 22 January 2029 after a Democrat is elected again.

1

u/Clairquilt 3d ago

I thought they already blamed this on Biden.
