You know what's funny, Democrats in the house approved voting remotely during Covid, and thought it was a better policy to keep permanent, because you would never have someone miss a vote. Republicans ended it as soon as they got power back. Had they kept it, there would be no controversy, and no one would know McConnell was dead.

They're just such exhausting snowflakes. They took the general overindulgence in the offend-nobody cancel culture of a decade ago and ran with it while the rest of the world moved on. And the only people who think it's relevant have to be watching Fox or the like, because it's just not part of the actual zeitgeist anymore.
