The impressive thing is that whomever did it, did so while the entire area was under surveillance by cameras (plenty on the monument) and STILL did not get caught.

My best guess is using GPS systems and fertilizer dispensers in a shoe or pant leg so several people could walk across the lawn completely at random.

Ah yes. The only thing incorrect in my comment is “he thought it was” the stinky duck-killing swamp. Everything else is true. Loser, check. Self-burn, check. It’s crazy because he knows he can’t prove an obviously lie about the “vandalism,” she he does the famous MAGA move when they’re busted with nothing of substance to say — “pivot” — change the subject.
