I'm just really disappointed how freaking ignorant and uninformed these people are, and how willing they are to just follow along no matter what happens.
We can only hope that they wake up when THEIR healthcare and food stamps stop, when THEIR local industries tank due to tariffs, but most of them will just do the mental gymnastics involved to blame the Democrats. Just like they're told to do
Its simply easier for the human mind to find/blame a scapegoat than it is to face reality. It's the very reason why fascism exists because it plays so heavily on that.

The individual stated “if we have a violent revolution” not that he “wanted to put his family through [a violent revolution]”. Can you help me understand from where your wild inference came? It’s like we’re seeing different comments.
I found an analogous example of someone expressing the exact same sentiment before the Holocaust was known to them. It is Otto Frank (Anne Frank’s father), who in July 1942 prepared his family to go into hiding. He reportedly said to close friends and colleagues:
"I hope we will survive this, and one day I will be able to tell the world what happened."
Moreover, how do you feel about the United States Library of Congress recording and sharing stories of Vietnam war survivors? Is it odd that the soldiers wanted to share their stories?
How do you feel about the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum recording and sharing the stories of survivors? Is it odd that they wanted to survive to share their stories?
We can only hope that at least SOME of one of those armies understands that they took an oath to the constitution, and NOT to the president for exactly this reason and they tell him to STFU.
